WHO WE ARE

The firm of certified public accountants known today as Davidson, Jamieson & Cristini, PL, has existed in one form or another for more than 50 years, opening in Dunedin, and today resides in an idyllic setting at 1956 Bayshore Boulevard.

We are not a tax return factory. We pride ourselves on working with our clients, offering personal attention to everyone and going the extra distance when necessary to make certain that people who rely on us understand exactly what is going on with every aspect of their financial lives.

John N. Davidson, CPA, CVA, CFF is our managing partner. JD practices in small business and personal tax preparation and consulting, business valuations and forensic accounting. JD has been practicing public accounting since 1976, after graduating from the University of Alabama.

Harry B. Jamieson, CPA, AEP spent more than 25 years in trust banking before moving to the practice of public accounting. Harry is our estate and trust partner who helps clients with estate planning and funds management. Harry was born in Pennsylvania and reared in Clearwater.

Richard A. Cristini, CPA, CGFM, CPPT is our audit partner. Richard specializes in auditing of not-for-profit organizations, pension funds and government entities. He also conducts compliance auditing. Richard is a graduate of John Carroll University and joined the firm in 2001.

David C. Bornmann, CPA has been in public accounting since he graduated from the University of Florida in 1970. David is a native Floridian, born in Daytona Beach. He has been with the firm since 2003.

Jeanine L. Bittinger, CPA, CPPT is our senior manager. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida. In addition to her work in the firm’s audit practice, Jeanine and Richard Cristini conduct peer reviews of other certified public accounting firms. She joined the firm in 2001.

Linda C. Bush, Business Accounts Manager, is responsible for our small business accounting function.

Sarah A. Hoerber, CPA, is the newest member of the firm, serving as manager of our litigation services department. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of West Florida. In 2002, Sarah became a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Donna Fitzgerald, Front Office and Administration, is the friendly voice you hear when you call the office and the friendly face that greets you when you come to the office. Donna takes care of the administration in the office and helps keep everything working smoothly.
